Recommended for this class

There are a bunch of technical things that designers often find themselves wondering when dealing with printers, amongst others. Most of the time, learning this stuff is trial-by-fire. We’ll talk about some of the content in these books in class, but I recommend them for those times that you’re wondering something specific about paper weights, picas, or cmyk separations that you just can’t find online. They’re a valuable resource that I find myself using to this day.

There are a bunch of helpful websites and collections of great typographic work on the web these days. Here’s a list of sites that I like.
